For a young professional establishing her own home, we worked to create an vibrant design that combined efficient use of space and “custom” elements in a cost-effective way. The result is a warm, personal apartment that is feminine with a bit of New York City edge. By utilizing texture, like the juju hat over the bed, and incorporating elements from travels, including a tapestry from Mexico, we created a space that is at once polished and lived-in. A space that highlights sentimental collections, but is grounded in items that will transition to future homes. By keeping the majority of the base items white or gray and infusing color and custom touches through accessories and accents, everything can work together in different ways as our client moves through life.
